Prantik A Samanta

A practicing Architect-Structural Engineer (Civil) in the Haldia Industrial area, Mr. Prantik Adhar Samanta has been working as an Architectural and Engineering Consultant as the sole proprietor of the Firm, named ARKHTON, at Haldia since 1999 presently the Firm named THE ARKHTON  having GST registration.

During the last twenty four years, Mr. Samanta has been working in various Industrial projects like Pipe Racks, Workshops, Industrial Shed, Machine Foundations, Crane Foundation, Vessel Foundations, Semi under Ground Reservoir and allied works (Capacity 6-8 MGD), RCC and composite Bridges,  Housing and Interior projects etc. under MCC PTA India Corp. Ltd., Marcus Oil & Chemical Pvt. Ltd., Emami Biotech Ltd., Ural India Ltd etc. He has also been working in different projects under Haldia Development Authority (H.D.A), Haldia Municipality, Tamluk Municipality, Purba Medinipur Zilla Parishad, and different Govt. and Semi-Govt. Institutions like Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET), different colleges of the Purba Medidipur District. Mr. Samanta has been working in various valuation works for IOCL employees, different banks different organizations like Haldia Pero-Chemical Ltd., Rohit Ferro Alloy Pvt Ltd, Electrosteel Casting Limited, UPL- Haldia. Electro Steel – Haldia etc. 

Mr. Prantik Adhar Samanta did his graduation (B. Arch.) in the year 1996 from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur, Howrah-3 (presently known as Indian Institute of Science & Technology ) under Calcutta University, and then obtained his master degree in Town and Regional Planning (MTRP) from the same Institute. Mr. Samanta also completed  AMICE (Civil) Examination from Institution of Civil Engineers (India) equivalent to degree in Civil Engineering and M. Tech. in CE-Structure from MAULANA ABUL KALAM AZAD UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, WEST BENGAL (Formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology).
