With almost 10 years of hands-on experience in tea industry operations and manufacturing, I've progressed from Welfare Officer at James Warren Tea (2015-2018) to Assistant Manager roles at Apeejay Surendra Group and McLeod Russel (2018-2024), and most recently Divisional Head at Bengal Tea Fabrics (Apr 2024-Feb 2025).​

In these roles, I managed end-to-end field and factory operations for 600+ workforce, including plucking, pruning, irrigation, nursery management over 3.5+ hectares, and supply chain optimization. I drove operational excellence using Six Sigma Yellow Belt methods, Excel-based MIS reports, and tools like Oracle ERP and Harvest Webon—resulting in 10% workforce efficiency gains, 8.5% crop yield improvements, 11% absenteeism reductions, and reclaiming 10 hectares of encroached land for production.​

On the sustainability front, I've led climate mitigation efforts like energy conservation in withering/drying sections for GHG emission cuts, Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to reduce chemical use and boost biodiversity, and soil erosion prevention via bamboo/shade tree planting. I spearheaded pilots for bifacial solar systems with Tata Power, planted 1,000 fruit trees under Amrit Brikshya Andolan 2.0, partnered with BSF for forest protection, and served as Internal Auditor/Trustea Officer for certifications including Rainforest Alliance (first-ever at Zaloni Tea Estate), Trustea, ISO 14001, HACCP, and GMP.​
