1. Roles and Responsibilities (Project Phase):

• L&T Building own upcoming data centers 2 MW (IT) in Panvel and 30 MW (IT) in Kanchipuram. Currently working on upcoming 2 MW L&T NMP-1 Data Center Project at Panvel. Witnessed and actively involved in installation, testing, commissioning, SAT of Electrical and Mechanical Equipment’s. 
• Targeting for operational site readiness. Reviewed and validated all designed documents, all testing script, IST Scripts and planning for site testing and readiness.
• Major goal is to make site operational ready by successfully completing IST and TCCF Uptime certification. Working on CAC as well for TCCF and load planning.
• Prepared snag list and observations to close all open points. Coordinating with Internal Project Team, External Project team and Consultant for planning and site readiness.
• Reviewing and Maintaining site handover documentation from Project Team. 
• Preparing Data Center Operation all Process documents.
• Completed Certification of internal Auditor for ISO Data Center Audits: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 20000-1:2018, ISO 27001:2013, ISO 27701:2019 & ISO 22301:2019
• Preparing SOP/EOP/MOP/Checklists etc for site as well as for ISO certification. Daily/weekly/monthly MIS.
• Completed DISH Approved Certification of Fire Fighting, Life Saver, First Aid and CPR.

1. Operation Roles and Responsibilities:

• Running 24x7x365 Data center Operations, managing Data Center Critical infrastructure, equipment, and Tier III uptime 99.982%.
• Managing Shift engineers, MST, BMS engineer, etc on 24x7 basis, escalate and resolve timely any operational issue. 
• Manage customer SLAs, track, reduce penalties, help in bottom line P&L improvement etc.
• Support vendor management, customer visits, vendor evaluation, asset management and tracking. 
• Critical incident management, root cause analysis and running the crisis calls during critical outages.
• Monitor the local Facility Engineering /BMS & DCIM/ outsourced team whose responsibilities are to maintain the data center facility infrastructure and ensure critical IT infra is in good condition.
• Prepare and provide RCA, Incident reports of breakdowns, SOPs, EOPs, MOPs, MIS report, History cards, Weekly, Monthly management reports to top management.
• Participate and own local DC staff-Shift Engineers, MST etc hiring and training.
• Carry out and participate in regular site compliance audit and maintain full compliance to various standards e.g. ISO 27001, ISO 20 K, PCIDSS, ISO 14000 etc 
• Liaising with all the DC center teams & vendors etc to represent DC Ops team, and also all the internal L&T stake holders as required.
• Schedule and carry out periodic maintenance for critical systems e.g., UPS, DG, Transformer, BMS and other supporting infrastructure to ensure 100 % system uptime. 
• Ensure teams are adhering to a Health & Safety standard in all our Data Centers for remote hands/smart hands and manage the remote and smart hands teams remotely for all the L&T Data centers business. 
• Creating and monitoring dashboards for critical KPIs, SLAs, etc.

1.  Designation: Senior IBX Facility Engineer-Data Center

     Reporting to- Manager/Director-Data Center Operation

      Duration: Sept-2021 to March-2022

         Roles and Responsibilities:

• Managing experience of 2 data centers of Equinix India, Capacity-8 MW & 16 MW DC.
• Performs site inspections and monitors the building and IBX alarms.
• Performs preventative maintenance on site infrastructure (e.g., maintenance of primary infrastructures), or manages vendors. 
• Leads repairs and corrective maintenance.
• Advises other team members on repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Leads and coordinates critical infrastructure operations.
• Completion of site logs and issuing of permits, such as MOPs and scripts.
• Creating Work orders in IBM Maximo, Raise CMR for critical maintenance & Create Change control for Change management for global team approvals. 
• Instructs on-site staff during incidents for Incident Management.
• Leads others with work requests and circuit installations.

• Managing experience of 8 MW data center of GPX India.
• Experienced in commissioning of Data center electrical systems UPS, STS, DGs, SWBD, FAS systems during GPX Mumbai-2 projects.
• Follows and executes procedures, standards, and technical training related to equipment operations and maintenance schedule and carry out periodic inspections and routine maintenance of all data center equipment as per OEM requirement and maintain checklist and service reports.
