Summary: Mechanical Marine Engineer with BE Mechanical engineering university degree and also holding unlimited Honduras FIRST engineer’s licence along with UK OOW ENGINEERING COC (expired recently). Worked in the Merchant Navy and offshore oil and gas industry for the last 28 years with15 Years of offshore experience. Have vast experience of Merchant Vessels Maintenance, FPSO construction /conversion at the ship yard phase, FPSO offshore maintenance and also ship yard new built and major dry-docking experience. Investigate new equipment design concepts by researching components or systems and evaluating applications. Specify mechanical equipment in accordance with contractual and engineering requirements. Enter appropriate equipment onto the Bill of Materials. Develops project specific Design Briefs and deliverables for the mechanical systems. Well adept in FPSO pre-commissioning and commissioning.Gained sufficient experience in the overhaul of power   generating  diesel generators  manufactured  by Daihatsu,  B&W and YANMAR  (1,000 – 3,000 k watts). Well experienced in the overhaul and maintenance of main propulsion engines made by B& W and SULZER. (8,000 – 30,000 KW).Competent in the operation and maintenance of low pressure, medium pressure and high-pressure boilers (Up to 60,000 Kg/Hr).

• Completed NVQ LEVEL 3 course from SOUTH TYNESIDE college ,South shields, United Kingdom

• Upgraded engineering degree to B.E Honors as per U.K standards.

• National vocational in marine engineering NVQ LEVEL 3 leading to U.K CLASS 3 (motor) certification.

• Attended a course for future class 2(motor) certification on attaining requisite sea experience. Passed academic subjects of class 2 (motor).

• Completed computer courses in Microsoft Office & Excel), Oracle and Developer 2000. Familiar with AMOS, STAR, and MAXIMO based planned maintenance system.

• HONDURAS FIRST ENGINEER COC, STCW III / II , management level in MARINE ENGINEERING.
