As a Biotechnologist, I have completed PhD in the area of 'Studies on the occurrence of antibiotic resistance and virulence in motile Aeromonas from fish farming environments in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal' in the University of North Bengal. I have pursued MSc in Biotechnology from North-eastern hill university, and a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from St. Anthony's College, Shillong.  I underwent the biotech industrial training programme organized by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, which has given me practical experience in the field.
I have also authored and published four papers in Frontiers in Veterinary Science (IF:3.12) and PLoS One (IF: 3.24). My research has focused on the occurrence of antibiotic resistance and virulence in motile Aeromonas and its impact on fish farming environments. I have also recently conducted research on SARS-CoV-2 using computational approaches and have a paper published in Preprints with some interesting findings.
I am a dedicated and motivated Biotechnology professional who is passionate about applying my knowledge and skills to solve real-world problems. I have strong research skills, experience in data analysis, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders. Throughout my Ph.D., I honed robust research skills, gained expertise in data analysis, and cultivated a collaborative work ethic with colleagues. Moreover, I've had the opportunity to teach biology at the secondary school level and provide guidance to students on their dissertations during my doctoral studies
