Prof Dr Mahendra Patait

I am a member of European Academy of Dento-Maxillo Facial Radiology (EADMFR), American Dental Association (ADA), Indian Academy of Oral –Maxillofacial Radiology (IAOMR), Indian Dental Association (IDA). At present I am working as an Eminent Oral Diagnostician and passionate Maxillofacial Radiologist in one of the well-known Post Graduate Research Institute, in India. I am also Having my own two Cone Beam Diagnostic Centers and Own Multi-care Dental Clinic, Private Specialty Dental Practice in Nashik, India in the last 19 years. I am Having PhD Degree in dental sciences, education field; full-time experience in dentistry, Demonstrated Post Graduate college level teaching experience; Evidence of clinical competence in the area of assigned clinical instruction; Experienced in simulation laboratory teaching And Proficiency in oral and written and electronic communication.

  Overall, I represent as an Organized and dependable candidate successful at managing multiple priorities with an optimistic attitude. Willingness to take on added responsibilities to meet team goals.

     I believe my experience, teaching passion, communication skills, interpersonal abilities would make me a strong fit for this position to take our academic dental institution promoting excellence in dental education, research, oral health care, and community service to improve the overall health of the population. 

Dr. Mahendra Patait, an eminent Oral Diagnostician and an outstanding Radiologist completed his BDS from Government Dental College, Mumbai, and was conferred the degree of Masters in Dental Surgery in 2002. His academic excellence did not culminate here, and his unquenched thirst for knowledge prompted Dr. Patait to secure a Ph. D in Dental sciences. With the zeal for spreading knowledge, the passionate teacher, Dr. Patait started his career as a lecturer in 2003 AT GDC. He is currently working as In charge, Professor, PG Guide & Ph.D. Guide in the Department of Oral Medicine and Maxillofacial Radiology, SMBT Dental College Hospital and Research Institute, India. 

Dr. Patait has to his credit more than 35 publications in various national and international journals, on intriguing topics such as 3D Vision Of Dentistry – CBCT, and Research work in various field Reports. He carried out extensive research programs in 3D Imaging techniques such as the Application of CBCT in Clinical Dentistry, Volumetric tomosynthesis, 3D Digital Smile Designing in Clinical Dentistry, and so on. With deep insight into technological advancement for accurate diagnosis and enhanced clinical treatment, After successfully attaining the 3D Imaging And CBCT Workshop in Singapore, Dr. Mahendra,  a First Ph.D. in Maxillofacial Radiologist in Imaging Guided Implantology efficiently runs an Exclusive 3D Cone Beam Computed Tomography Diagnostic Centre in Nashik. His never-ending enthusiasm and a keen interest in Dental Imaging In General and In 3D Application Dental CBCT, in particular, has seen in delivered multiple lectures National Level, especially as a Keynote speaker at IAOMR conference and PG conventions, Guest Speaker at State IDA conference MSDC-2013 and For general practitioners at various branches of IDA And honored to be an International speaker at 8th International Conference of Dental Imaging –CAD/CAM in Dentistry at Dubai, UAE. Also, he is conducting the first-ever concept of Workshop on IMAGING GUIDED IMPLANT SURGERY – ALL-N-Four training at IDA branches. After Completing Training in Germany, on ADVANCES IN DENTAL IMAGING, has been appointed as a SPECIALISED CERTIFIED CBCT TRAINER, from India by Sirona dental Academy. He also has an established multispecialty private practice in Nasik since the year 2003, as Advance Implantology center with Imaging Guided Surgery and recently Is appointed As Trainer for Digital aesthetic Dentistry Diploma Program of University Of Argentina, with International Association of Interdisciplinary Dentistry, AIOI.

With the Endeavour of an improved medico–dental rapport as an approach to catering to the healthcare needs of the masses, Dr. Patait has started, and is working as the Editor – in – Chief, of the International Journal of Dental Practice and Medical Sciences. Recently Awarded As MOST PROACTIVE ACADEMICIAN OF THE YEAR – 2015, BY GUIDANT, Delhi, Research Excellence award 2020 And has to his honor, lifetime membership and national convener for activities of the Indian Academy of Oral Medicine and Maxillofacial Radiology, and active membership to the Indian Dental Association of Nasik since 2003, and  Dual membership of American Dental Association(ADA)  and European Academy Of Dentomaxillofacial Radiology(EADFR). All over it makes Dr. Patait an awe-inspiring personality, a benevolent doctor, a Dedicated Academician, and an ardent sportsperson, an example to emulate for the youth of the day.
