Thesis Title: Cold Model Study of Raceway. The project was funded by Jindal Vijaynagar Steel Limited , a leading steel manufacturing company in India. The company was implementing a new steel-making process, the Corex process, and consultancy was provided by experimentation. Simulations were performed in cold models to predict the raceway size as a function of bed and blast parameters and new empirical correlations were proposed.
