My project involves the development of multiple machine learning models, including a News Sentiment model and a News Category model, using transformers bert-base-cased and Distilbert models respectively. A News summary model was also trained to provide summaries of finance-related news articles. The project utilized Gdelt API to scrape news articles for sentiment model training and BeautifulSoup to scrape news from Moneycontrol. The team also scraped live and historical stock data using the quantmod library of R and selenium. I built a flask app to scrape data from various websites at fixed intervals, dump the scraped data into MongoDB, and project the required columns in JSON format using MongoDB pipeline. Several Docker containers were created for deployment and could be created, run, edited, and deleted with their respective ports.

Between 2021-2022, I completed a PGDCA (Post-Graduation Diploma in Computer Applications) program at the Indira Gandhi National Open University and also earned certifications in IBM Data Science and SQL Basic.
