Responsibilities and Nature of Job:

• Design, Implementation, Configuration and Maintenance of VMware vSphere infrastructure.
• Monitor, Troubleshoot, capacity planning and performance tuning for datacenter servers. 
• Working on h/w and s/w upgrades and using dell OME, Skyline, vRealize suite like Loginsight,VRA and vROPS on custom dashboard.
• Automate the process like VM build & removal, Snapshot removal as per the requirement.
• Manage the host resources \ virtual machine resource allocation and perform the patch & upgrade.
• Worked on VxRail cluster Pre-check, Troubleshoot and Upgrade activity.
• Error validation & provide the fix for VxRail Manager, Node, VSAN and Cluster issues.
• Working on VxRail Node Addition, Disk Addition and enhancement of overall cluster performance.
• Worked on RDM to VMDK conversion to meet the compliance and storage complication issue
• Worked on LUN re-use with data mirroring for SAP & Critical Application server migration
• Support for Rubrik Live Mount & Avamar backup for VM bare metal restoration.
• Actively participate for Vendor calls (TAM & BPR calls) about the environment review, bugfix, upgrade path, Best practice and remediation for virtual infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in Server Consolidation with physical to virtual (P2V) & V2V conversions.
• Monitor the vSphere resource with PS Script & RVTools report regularly.
• Working with storage & Backup team for LUN reclamation & Storage Path redundancy check activity.
• Working in 13 vCenter in client environment and support for upgrade & Patches periodically.
• Supporting on process knowledge, Technical, Known Errors and Vulnerability fix documentation.
• Working across global support for delivery with onsite / onsite model, dealing with cross functional team, planning initiative and tracking issues for client commitment.
