I am Ramkanna, 37 years old from Chennai. Please find my resume along with this cover-letter for your reference. I have completed 3 degrees. I completed my B.E. in the year 2006, my Erasmus Mundus Scholarship M.Sc in 2007-2009 (Germany and Portugal) and Advanced Diploma in 2015-2016 (Portugal). After my graduation (completed in the year 2006), I have a total of 4.5 years of experience with various companies mainly in the area of management consulting. During my breaks I have volunteering and work experiences with various organisations - with Yoga ashram, Individual family, Teach for India, Restaurant, International Youth Hostel, etc. 

I am a fresher in the field of hospitality/travel/tourism. I am open to join you as an entry level operations associate. Location Preference: Portugal, Germany, Spain, France, Any Western EU country.

The business activities of your esteemed organization are very interesting to me. I am open and very much motivated to explore new careers in different management sectors which include Hospitality sector. I am open to explore careers which are not close to my experience and education. I am a Junior/Entry level professional in field of hospitality/travel/tourism. The job profiles of the open positions are very interesting to me and motivated me to send this application to become a part of your esteemed organization. I am also open to take any type of support position with any department. I request you to consider my application for the same. I am also interested to take up positions such as Management Support, Logistics Coordinator/ Support, Facility /Housekeeping Management Support, Any Department-Support roles, Supply Chain Support, etc.  

Below is a short list showing my interest and motivation in explore a career in the field of travel/tourism/hospitality management: 

- I have work experience working part-time for a restaurant in Portugal.

 - I lived, volunteered and worked for an international youth hostel in Lisbon for few months. 

- I have experience living at different types of paying guests, hotels and hostels in India.

- I have experience living in different student hostels and paying guest in Europe. 

- I have travelled extensively in Western Europe and like the hospitality/travel industry very much and very much motivated to explore a career related to it. 

- I have lived with a family and done volunteer hospitality work for a family in Portugal. 

Presently, I do not have a work permit/work visa to be eligible to work in the EU. My EU Blue Card application number: 175218. I can get the EU Blue Card easily if I get a job offer. I am open to take up junior/trainee/entry level/any salary. 

My interest and motivation in the field of hospitality/tourism/travel related organizations in Europe: 

- I am very much interested in living, working, and traveling in Europe. 

- I did two degrees in Europe. 

- I have lived in The Netherlands with my elder brother who lives in The Netherlands with his family. 

- During my studies I have traveled to many countries in Western Europe. 

- I like the culture, life, nature, diversity and everything that Europe offers. 

- I traveled by bus from Germany to Portugal and Portugal to Germany. 

- I have traveled by DB from Augsburg to The Netherlands using a weekend ticket. 

- I have volunteered and worked in the hospitality sector in Portugal. 

- I have worked and lived in International places such as Folkecenter, Denmark and Auroville India. 

- I have lived in various places. I love traveling and like the travel/ tourism/ hospitality industries very much. 

- I am looking for a long term job and career in the field of tourism/travel/hospitality management and business sector.

I have about 4.5 years (2006 to 2022) of work experience playing different support roles with different consulting companies. My last work was with a hospital as a Service Coordinator. Have had breaks in career due to higher studies abroad, volunteering and travelling.
