I am Razina Naqvi. I have done my B.Sc and MBA (Finance - full time) from Pune University and have 5.5 years of experience in Indian payroll.

Experience
Working as a Payroll Accountant and have led and executed the following tasks:
- Payroll review and validation – Reviewing payroll input: attendance, one-time payment, new joiners, shift allowance, other allowances. Validation of payroll register received from third party payroll vendor: gross salary, net salary, other payroll compliance. Coordination with payroll vendor.
- Payroll related accounting – Responsible for preparation of payroll related accruals and passing journal entries in workday.
- Compliance Management – Ensuring statutory compliance like PF, PT, And LWF that all the withholding taxes are paid to authorities on time
- Payroll employee interface – payroll induction for new joiners, resolving salary related enquiries of employees
- Reports and Presentation - Preparing cost center wise & business unit wise salary reports on monthly basis, presenting the expense deck and monthly variance for payroll to Management monthly.
- Payroll vendor Management – Coordination with payroll vendor for payroll input, output and other reports. Leading monthly MIS call with payroll vendor and Evolent Team.
