RITESH KUMAR

I am currently pursuing my second master’s in environmental change and global sustainability at the University of Milan, Italy. I have completed a Master of Science in Ecology & Environment Studies from Nalanda University, India, and Mechanical Engineering in my undergraduate program. With three years of work experience.

I had the opportunity to work as an Operation Manager in a Corporate Social Responsibility focused project on the environment, sustainability, conservation and human rights in Green Yatra Trust, New Delhi, India. I also worked as a Project Coordinator at Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on an International Project titled Justice Venture International focused on green technologies and plantation activity. My previous internships at National Thermal Power Plant and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan trained me to understand carbon emissions and water sanitation respectively

I am currently pursuing my second master’s in environmental change and global sustainability at the University of Milan, Italy. The idea is to map land cover dynamics using Landsat data from the 80s up to now, and to analyze them with respects to major changes in land use policies.
