Rituporn Gogoi

I am Rituporn Gogoi, as a highly experienced applied material chemist, I am currently working on developing semiconducting materials like conducting polymers and covalent organic frameworks (COF) and Graphene for photocatalytic conversion of chemical reactions.

• Highly skilled and experienced with the synthesis and purification of various carbonaceous polymeric materials, like graphene, conducting polymers (CP), crystalline porous covalent organic frameworks (COF) and their heterojunction nanocomposites with metal oxides and profoundly interested expand my skills on other functional materials.
• Competent in hands-on experience in a wide range of advanced characterization techniques to examine physio-chemical and photophysical properties to know charge transfer mechanisms in heterojunctions nanocomposites.
• Experienced in conducting various organic reactions under thermal or photo-catalytical approaches, purification, and identification of organic products: Azide-Alkyne cycloaddition reactions, photocatalytic cross coupling reactions, photoreforming of plastics to valuable organic products and hydrogen fuel, photo-oxidation and reduction of pollutants, vapor phase adsorption of radioactive materials, etc.
• Demonstrated excellent team working skills and project management ability through involvement in various collaborative projects while working as a doctoral researcher especially at IIT Mandi, and while working as an invited PhD researcher at ICP, University of Paris-Saclay.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills developed through preparing (successful) proposal for research grant, high-quality technical reports, and research articles for high impact journals, presenting at international/local conferences, assistance in reviewing peer reviewed journals, teaching activities for master’s level, etc.
