About Riya Kewalramani:

Hey there, I’m Riya Kewalramani. I was born in Mumbai India, and finished my high school over there. I studied at Ecole Mondiale World School where I took Chemistry, Biology and Psychology at a Higher Level, and Mathematics, Spanish and English at a standard level. I finished Chemistry HL with a score of 7/7. I am currently enrolled at the University of Toronto, where I’m in the life sciences program, hoping to enroll in the Human Biology program. 

Throughout my life, I’ve always been fascinated by the art of teaching, and is something, as described to me by my friends and family, a skill I’m good at. I’ve been teaching my friends high school and university level biology, psychology, chemistry and mathematics since Grade 7. I’m extremely proficient in all those subjects - especially since I’m studying them at a world renowned university. 

Over the years, I’ve taken the effort to take my education to a further level by pursing my subjects outside of school. In 2022, I published a paper to the International Journal of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, and also published my own novel, titled “To Beyond and Back“. I’ve also interned at a hospital and conducted my own independent research in the biology field (A paper on the zone of inhibition of yeast). 

I’m a passionate learner, extroverted, a good communicator and organised. I’m eager to learn more about my passions and eager to depart my knowledge to those younger than me.
