I am currently a 3rd-year undergraduate student at IIT Tirupati. I always liked learning to code and solving problems on platforms like HackerRank, CodeChef, and Codeforces. I also really like working with Data. So, I've learned Data Science (NumPy, pandas), and Machine learning (PyTorch, Sk-learn). I worked as a Google summer of code - contributor for a German supercomputing research center where I implemented a major part of the "Memory distributed Singular value decomposition" algorithm for Heat (Helmholtz analytics Toolkit), which is a new library/framework similar to NumPy, PyTorch. This is one of the most important algorithms used in recommender systems like YouTube and Netflix. During these 4 months, I learned a lot of new things from debugging different errors to learning some complex linear algebra useful for ML.
I also understood how to constantly communicate with the organization heads and my mentor properly as it was completely remote work. I completed the GSoC program by September 2022. Now I am looking for similar great opportunities. I promise that I am a hard worker and will finish most of the work before the deadline and since I already have an excellent experience with remote work I know exactly how to communicate regularly and give timely updates.
