• Security audit, security Plan, Security Probe and Security Appreciation of IAF bases.
• Formulation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs)/ security guidelines/policies. 
• Effective Access Control measures for monitoring and authorizing the entrance of vehicles, visitors and material in the IAF base. Ensuring no trespassers in the station.
• Access control management by optimum utilization of security equipment i.e. HHMD, DFMD, X-Ray Baggage Inspection System, Biometric authentication, Boom Barriers, Spike Barriers, Hydraulic Bollard, Under Vehicle Scanning System, CCTV and Hydraulic Bollard System at Entry-Exit point of the Bases.
• Use of Thermal imagers, Surveillance system, Intrusion Detection System and all modern security equipment. 
• Looking after all the security arrangements in the campus. 
• Proficiency in handling and firing an array of small arms, Combat experience needed in a Hostile and violent situation.
• Training to QRT (Quick Reaction Team) and lead QRT team in all adverse situations.
• Passive air defense and Ground defense of the IAF contingencies
• Attending contingencies and other emergency situation.
• Implementation of effective pass management system at entry/exit points and preventing loss/damage. 
• Preparation of reports of the major and minor cases.
• VIP security arrangements for the National and Foreign dignitaries during the official visit to the IAF bases
• Planning and ensuring execution of security arrangement during various events.
• Vigilance, Intelligence gathering and Surveillance of the IAF major bases. 
• Liaison with Civil Police, Para military forces, Army, Specialist security groups, Office of the District Magistrate, Office of Superintendent of Police and Local Intelligence Unit. 
• Checking & monitoring surveillance cameras regularly to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Assisting in maintaining Law & Order.
• Disaster Management: Fire Fighting, Casualty Evacuation & First Aid.
