Sarita Ramamoorthy

With over two decades of work experience, which includes a decade in not-for-profits, my career has focused on editing, project management, and research and documentation. As a writer and editor, I have worked on several projects with independent writers as well as brands, while developing style guidelines and ensuring that every document I produce is high quality and error-free. I have over 12 years of experience editing journal submissions, research reports, non-fiction manuscripts, PhD theses, and articles. I have successfully worked on over 70 projects with clients all over the world, including first-time writers/authors to guide them in developing their manuscripts. Some of the published manuscripts I copyedited include Being People (2019), Introspecting Change: Nepal’s Economic Awakening (2023), and Coloring my Greyness (2023).

I am also a certified TEFL/TESOL English language trainer. I have over 12 years of teaching experience, where I conduct courses on English language proficiency tests (such as IELTS, TOEFL, SAT (incl. March), and PTE), general English (starter to advanced levels), and professional/business writing. Throughout my tenure, I've honed my expertise in guiding young learners to excel in English proficiency tests. I have also created creating English language tests for Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, China. My professional journey has extended beyond the classroom, having served as a full-time professional in both regional and international non-profit organizations. This diverse experience, combined with my English language training skills, uniquely positions me to aid learners.
