Saurabh Malik

I have hands-on experience and expertise in Court reporting, besides features and editorial writing. I specialize in the analysis of judicial affairs and proceedings, besides investigation and development journalism. I have done over a thousand lead stories and exclusive reports for the Tribune since I joined in 1999, besides writing articles on trending topics, breaking news and top headline. Prior to my current assignment, I handled all major beats while working with the Indian Express from 1996 to 1999. Freelancing experiences range from 1992 to 1996  

As in charge of a reporters’ team, I am actively associated with training and imparting guidance on a regular basis to the correspondents, the editing staff and the interns. Having immense ability to meet the needs of a highly diverse student/intern population, I have contributed to their overall development by honing their skills to access, evaluate and use information from multiple sources, besides evaluating and selecting appropriate materials in support of their curriculum.
