I am a logistics professional with 9 years of experience with the Indian and Singapore companies. I handle critical shipments which involve Letter of Credit,  Cross Country Shipments, Negotiation with Forwarders/Liners, Coordination with Vendors and Customers, Preparing Shipping documents and issuing approval for the Import/Export Permits. 

 Create Purchase Order, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, COO (Certificate of Origin) and other shipping documents for Exports/ Domestic supply. Ensure all statutory and company-required paperwork/invoices are up to date through effective record keeping and organization. 

 Verify and issue approval for the Import Permit/Bill of Entry and Export Permit/Shipping Bill prior to filing with customs. Responding to Customs queries if any. 

 Inventory forecast and planning the import shipments based on the customer order flow. 

 Plan & Execute Cross Country shipments and direct shipments end to end. Ensure compliance with local customs regulations and foreign trade regulations.

 Handle L/C (Letter of Credit) & CAD (Cash Against Document) shipments. Coordinate with customers & bank for draft documents approval and submission of L/C & CAD documents to the bank. 

 Co-ordinating with the overseas factories/warehouses/vendors on Cargo Readiness and organizing shipments & nominating shipping agents. 

 Plan, manage and evaluate logistics and supply chain operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation service providers and customers. 

 Appointing the best service providers (Forwarders / Shipping Liners and Custom House Agents) available in the industry for AIR, SEA & Courier shipments. 

 Coordinate with transporters/forwarders for dispatch, monitor shipping status after dispatch of customer goods and ensure compliance with event schedules. 

 Additional responsibilities are as follows sourcing/purchase, vendor development, negotiation, sales support & customer support.
