I am a practicing Psychologist (RCI trained Clinical Psychologist) and Student Guidance Counsellor. I have worked with over 800+ clients online as well as in-person therapy sessions. My innate pro-social nature guided me to take this up as a vocation as I saw lack of workforce in this area. My forte includes working with Adolescents, Adults with Relationship problems, Stress, Anxiety and Depression.
Experience
Professional experience in providing therapeutic services with use of my skills and expertise in handling psychological issues relating to daily life and clinical concern. I have a forte in providing individual counselling more specifically teletherapy to all age groups struggling with intrapersonal conflicts, self-esteem, self-confidence issues along with social and interpersonal relationships, leading to emotional health concerns and psychiatric symptomology. I aim to empower people to regain their mental health with my eclectic approach with a mix of CBT and third wave psychotherapy approaches.
Education
Have undergone Clinical training as per Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) norms prescribed as per Mental health acts, and completed my M.Phil. Clinical Psychology. This has equipped me with formal screening, assessments and therapeutic management of all kinds of mental health concerns.
Along with this completed thesis as per research in area of Disability, titled ‘Psychosocial Adaptation in adults with late onset Visual Impairment’
