Greetings, dear reader!
As this assignment requires me to give you a glimpse of my personality as a professional writer, I’d like to take
you through my journey and my current pursuits. I was born with a creative streak and a mind that takes a keen interest in observing the immediate world around me and trying to articulate and dissect its intricacies. Having graduated with a Professional Diploma in Textile Design from the Srishti Institute of Art, Design & Technology, I was involved in hands-on projects that involved working with rural communities, travelling to
different parts of India, studying and deriving inspiration from cultural and regional influences, and prototyping and developing products to suit a modern lifestyle. A crucial part of our design process involved brainstorming, ideation, conceptualization, production, and documentation. Life had other plans for me as I started my career as a Fashion Content Writer at abof.com, Aditya Birla’s e-commerce fashion platform
followed by a stint at ajio.com, Reliance’s omnichannel e-commerce fashion portal.
How did a textile designer foray into the content writing space you ask? Well, that’s the beauty of life. You can ponder and plan, but there are times when your mind gravitates towards something that wasn’t planned in the first place. Today, I like to call myself a creative content writer, a copywriter, and a storyteller, but most importantly, someone who is informed by design and aesthetics.
My stint as a Specialist in Communications, Copywriting, and Partnerships at ISHO, modern furniture & lifestyle brand based in Dhaka, Bangladesh was another opportunity that helped me further develop my writing skills across diverse portfolios.
With over 7+ years of industry experience and having successfully written content and copy for diverse e-commerce platforms, social media handles, video scripts, editorial stories, press releases, and contractual agreements, my motto is to create delightful experiences through human-centric and user-friendly content.
In the future, I aspire to head a content marketing team that efficiently produces copy and content that engages consumers and provides a wealth of information without inundating them.

With over 7.5+ years of industry experience and having successfully written content and copy for diverse e-commerce platforms, social media handles, video scripts, editorial stories, press releases, and contractual agreements, my motto is to create delightful experiences through human-centric and user-friendly content. 

I am also pursuing an Executive Programme in Branding & Advertising from IIM Indore to strengthen and diversify my skills as a marketeer. This programme creates the next generation of marketing leaders. It equips participants with advanced thinking, analysis, and marketing management skills. 

Having graduated with a professional diploma in Textile Design from the Srishti Institute of Art, Design & Technology, I feel that my knowledge of design and aesthetics combined with my writing skills will prove to be a unique and versatile combination.
