Work with suppliers for order confirmation and fluctuation in demand (Reschedule).
• Work on timely completion of Open Purchase Order Report and Shortage Report for review.
• Spot buy for immediate requirement parts on short notice for shortage resolution.
• Work closely for shortage resolution and make sure production line keep running.
• Work with receiving team for any receiving challenges in shipping documents, Invoices and PO line.
• Work with account payable team to resolve any invoice dispute, resolve hold issues for receipts and
pricing to ensure on time payment to suppliers.
• Closely check and take necessary decisions for inventory management and inventory control. Special
attention to the high value POs in terms of their exact need date, need quantity and co-ordinate with
supplier accordingly.
• Requesting proposals and quotes from suppliers, distributors and brokers, and further compare the
data for better price negotiation, consignment agreement and delivery terms.
• Handle 1000+ open orders from 15+ suppliers and maintain long term relationship.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports, delivered it to regional procurement team
along with the appropriate solutions.
• Identify Key areas for improvement and drive SGA/Kaizen for process improvement.
