Smita Pendharkar

I am a BPharm graduate from BITS (Birla Institute of Technology and Science), Mesra, Ranchi. I completed my graduation in 1992. I am also a BEd, MA (English Literature) and MEd. I also hold a Diploma in School Management (DSM). I have worked as a Teacher, Coordinator, Vice-Principal and Principal in schools like Navy Children's School, Podar International School and The Orbis School since 2007. I have also won Principal-par-excellence awards from IIHM, Eldrok, etc. My hobbies are playing Badminton and Kathak Dancing.

I have been an educationist for the past 18-19 years. I have been part of School development programmes and curriculum development programmes. I have also handled children with special needs as part of NEP 2020. I have been an Observer for CBSE Board Practicals (Class XII) and Centre Superintendent for CBSE Board Exams (Classes X and XII). I have interacted with CBSE Regional office and Zilla Parishad.
