I am a dialysis technician, 

Ensures that the safety and proper operation of dialysis equipment is maintained at all times. Troubleshoots issues with equipment and patients.

Maintains all admininstrative records regarding patien histories and medical record. Monitors the patient during the dialysis process, recording vital signs to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Provides counseling to patients for proper diet and electrolyte intake and the significance of medications prescribed.

Conducts patient education, providing classes and counseling.

Dialyzing acute patients at hospital as needed.

Monitored patients during treatment, initiated the treatment and after treatment care. Educated new patients on the process, what to expect and what is expected of them.

The centers monthly draws, notifying director of abnormal results, filing results in charts, and educating the patients.

I started out just taking blood pressures and breaking down the machines after the

treatments. Quickly worked my way to a person who trained, educated, repaired and overseeing the

inventory
