I have completed my Ph.D in Plant Biology and Plant Biotechnology in Presidency College (Autonomous), Chennai, affiliated to the University of Madras, Chennai.

• Worked as Tree Census volunteer for Tamil Nadu Forest Department, Government of Tamil Nadu under the guidance of Dr. D. Narasimhan, Associate Professor, Madras Christian College, Chennai during 2011 – 2013. 
• Conducted 5 (five) National Nature Camping Programme for NGC students in collaboration with the State Training Centre, Puducherry at Auroville and Aaranya Forest during January and February 2014
• Working as a Project officer  in C.P.R Environmental Education Centre, Chennai since November 2013 to 2018
• Working as a Project officer, on the title of Ecological studies of sacred groves with special Reference to five agro-climatic zones of Tamil nadu for Tamil Nadu. Funded by Forest Department, Government of Tamil Nadu under the guidance of Dr. T. Sundramoorthy, Assistant Director, C.P.R Environmental Education Centre, Chennai. The year of 2018.
• Working as a Assistant Professor in Department of Biotechnology, Sri Vinayaga College of Arts and Science College, Ulundurpet, Kallakurichi District, Tamil Nadu, Since November 2019 to still now.
