I am currently searching for a role with my Technical Writing skillset that have been applied to add value to the company and myself.
As a Product/Project Manager, 5 years at Intelliswift Software (and PWC, PSI Data Systems, 7 years) my roles were that of Business Analyst (market research of multiple competitors’ products), Product Manager (UI Mockflow, design, product demo), Project Manager (5 team members for ROR) and Technical Writer.

As a Technical Writer I wrote user guides, online help, marketing documents, functional documents, release notes, over the period of 10 years.

I have 7 years of experience in software development as a Programmer, to Business Analyst and to Project Leader (5 years) in Oracle 8 database - PL/SQL after working in PWC and PSI at client sites and gained functional knowledge of the Banking Custodial domain. I worked on ERP Oracle Applications Suite implementation team and Sun Systems Financial Accounting Software (ERP and COBOL) for 2 years.

As a Product/Project Manager (5 years) at Intelliswift Software my role was that of Business Analyst (market research of multiple competitors’ products), Product Manager (UI Mockflow, design, product demo), Project Manager (5 team members for ROR) and Technical Writer. I implemented the Scrum framework in this project with the required multiple customized flow.
The first roadblock as a Product Manager in the staffing Applicant Tracking System (ATS) project for the legal domain was the refusal by client users to use the mouse for the web application. They did not want to give up desktop application features with keyboard like using the ‘Tab’ key to move between fields to enter data. I gave 20 users, only one client master web page (POC) to use with mouse and the ‘Tab’ key. After addressing all the issues, I finally got the approval to build further.
I interacted with the client in California to complete the web application designing and was involved in multiple presentations given to the client and to others to convert this application into a market product for multiple clients.
I worked along with a team of a technical lead, developers and the QA team. I had also taken up the initiative to implement multiple levels of testing for bug-free software and test the software myself because of the number of change requests that were incorporated into the application due to the dynamic nature and features of the client’s business partners from the legal domain.
I designed and monitored Data Migration module for migration of data from legacy desktop system to AWS Cloud. The 8 hours data migration process also included an Error Tracking (missing data) module. A data migration that took weeks was reduced to 8 hours by fine tuning the module design and using the AWS database features.
