 Description:

Worked as AWS cloud DevOps Systems Engineer at Direct Line Insurance Pvt Ltd, UK. Involved in mainly taking care of Core digital AWS infrastructure platform development automation and responsible for deployment pipelines/Jenkins jobs all Digital applications

Responsibilities:

● Creating architecture on AWS as per developer team's requirement using CloudFormation, terraform, documenting the design and provisioning the infrastructure on AWS.
● Creating deployment pipelines using CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and Jenkins.

●Migrating backend services to ECS EC2 based clusters from EC2 machines, and finally migrated to ●ECS Fargate including Production.

●Migrating frontend ECS clusters to AWS S3 and CloudFront
●Setting up Blue Green deployments for Production and staging for front-end

●Automating ACM imported certificates to notify respective product owners via emails when the certificates renew dates are less than 30 days.

●Did releases using Jenkins until the team is self-sucient to do their releases on their own.
● Wrote Lambda functions to stop ECS Fargate tasks on non-office hours and weekends using AWS EventBridge rules (at that time AWS Cloudwatch Rules)

● Created multiple environments for Lambda functions aligned to API Gateway stage variables which point to lambda function’s aliases. So that avoided creating multiple Lambda functions for each environment.
