My name is Sukshith KG, and I bring over 13 years of experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Transaction Monitoring, and Financial Crime Risk Management. I hold an MBA in Finance and Marketing, which has provided me with a solid foundation to navigate the complexities of the financial sector. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of financial institutions and banking organizations, helping them develop robust compliance frameworks to detect, prevent, and mitigate financial crimes.

My journey in the financial crime risk space has allowed me to acquire deep expertise in regulatory compliance, risk assessment, and the implementation of cutting-edge tools and strategies to combat financial crimes. I’ve worked extensively with international standards and local regulations, ensuring that organizations not only adhere to the law but also stay ahead of evolving threats.

I believe in creating a balance between compliance and business operations, ensuring that risk management solutions are effective and seamless.

With over 13 years of experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Transaction Monitoring, and Financial Crime Risk Management, I have had the privilege of working with leading financial institutions such as HSBC, WNS, JP Morgan Chase, ANZ, and MUFG. At MUFG, my most recent role, I was instrumental in driving various initiatives focused on maintaining high compliance standards while fostering innovation in our processes.

Throughout my career, I have consistently contributed to the optimization of both processes and team performance. I have played a key role in several high-impact projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, reducing risks, and improving team skills. Notably, I was responsible for managing the migration of the Vietnam KYC team to Bangalore, overseeing the entire process, and ensuring its seamless execution. This migration involved handling high volumes of data and complex compliance requirements, where I took ownership of the process and ensured the team's performance remained robust and responsive to organizational needs.

In addition to my project management experience, I have demonstrated strong leadership in managing teams, mentoring junior members, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. My focus has always been on developing team capabilities, driving performance through clear communication, and ensuring that every team member has the necessary resources and support to excel in their roles.

I have completed my Master’s in Finance and Marketing through a full-time program at Jain University.
