Sumeet Surve

           I am Sumeet, I am a passionate artist and loves to play games , which helps me get inspired and learn a lot. Being in this field for more that 24 years has given me thorough satisfaction while painting and studying different art forms. This experience has helped me develop my my own style and techniques.

            In this journey from 2D animation to concept art, I've developed myself not just as an artist but also as an explorer, where I've learnt and developed different skills to update my knowledge which has always helped me create and design different artworks and style. 

            I am hardworking and a quick learner who can adapt different styles or softwares easily. 

             I am currently working at Ubisoft India as a Sr Concept Artist. Over the past 4 years, my job here has been challenging and rewarding at the same time. I have learned the craft from my peers and superiors and have put it into use. 

            Before Ubisoft, I worked as a retoucher for 2 plus years for an advertising agency and worked as an associate art director in a gaming studio for a couple of years developing new concepts, environments, and ISO assets with a 3D team for social games.

             I started my career as a 2D cell animator and then moved into Flash animation, having nearly 10 years of experience doing animation. Those skills come in handy when doing motion icons for games. I primarily use Photoshop, coupled with 3D google SketchUp/ Blender to block in layout initially if need be. 

            Overall, I have 24 plus years of experience, initially doing 2D Animation, very little in advertising, and mainly gaming now. 

I've studied Fine Arts Diploma in Drawing and Painting.
