Qualified Piping Engineer having 17 years of rich and insightful Industry experience across geographically diverse regions including India, Malaysia, Taiwan, Middle east. Experience encompasses the mechanical design of piping i.e Piping Stress Analysis. Area of excellence includes Front End Engineering and detailed engineering of Onshore as well as Offshore (FPSO & Fixed Platform), LNG, metal and mining, Upstream Gas projects, and Pipeline engineering with well-known International Organizations Technip, Petrofac, Worley parsons, CTCI, Siemens, Bechtel, etc.

Experience

  • Development of Piping Stress design basis and Support std. in line with client specifications and preparing technical queries
  • Inter-discipline coordination for Piping loads to Civil/ Structural, Equipment Nozzle loads, Line list, P&ID etc
  • Analysis of critical lines connected to equipment like Compressors, Turbine, Air Coolers, Tanks, columns, centrifugal Pumps, Re boiler etc
  • Analysis for conditions like Settlement, Structural stiffness, Sway, Surge, Slug, PSV reaction force, Tank Bulging & rotations, Flange leakage   etc 
  • Effectively usage for Spring Hangers, Expansion Joints, sliding plates and Struts and involved in procurement of procurement for the same including vendor Drawing approval
  • Modal analysis & Dynamic analysis of surge loads using Time History method for LNG unloading lines
  • Analysis for 10000 Year, Towing, Blast cases and fatigue analysis for Offshore projects
  • Implementation of AIV FIV recommendations from 3rd party
  • Solving Vessel/ Tank nozzle loads issue with the help of introducing flexibility as per calculation API 650, WRC 297, FEM analysis (Nozzle pro).
  • Pipeline Stress analysis with ASME code B31.4 and B31.8.
  • Planning, delegating, monitoring, and reviewing the task assigned to each team member of team
  • Creating better environment within team for achieve common goal
  • CAESER- II, Auto pipe, Nozzle pro, Smart Plant review (SPR), Navisworks, Autocad-2006, MS-office
