Graduating in electronic media has equipped me with a comprehensive skill set that blends creativity and technical knowledge. My journey began with a deep fascination for storytelling through various media platforms. Throughout my studies, I honed my abilities in news anchoring, learning to communicate effectively and engage audiences with clarity and confidence.

Understanding the nuances of news presentation has been a significant aspect of my training. I’ve mastered the art of delivering news with a professional demeanor while maintaining authenticity. This experience has made me adept at researching, writing, and presenting news stories that resonate with viewers.

In addition to anchoring, I’ve developed strong editing skills. Proficiency in Adobe software has been crucial in this aspect. Whether it’s video editing with Premiere Pro or graphic design with Photoshop, I’ve learned to create visually compelling content that enhances storytelling. I enjoy the editing process, transforming raw footage into polished, engaging narratives.

A pivotal experience in my career was a month-long internship at Doordarshan Kendra Srinagar. This hands-on opportunity allowed me to immerse myself in the broadcasting environment, where I gained practical insights into the production process and the daily operations of a major news outlet. I contributed to various segments, refining my skills in both news presentation and production.

My education also covered the entire production process. From pre-production planning to post-production editing, I understand how each element plays a vital role in creating a successful media project. This comprehensive view allows me to collaborate effectively with teams, whether in the role of an anchor, editor, or producer.

Working on live broadcasts during my internship taught me the importance of adaptability and quick thinking. I thrive under pressure, ensuring that every broadcast runs smoothly, regardless of unforeseen challenges.

I’m also aware of the latest trends in electronic media, which helps me stay relevant in an ever-evolving industry. I actively seek out opportunities to enhance my skills, whether through workshops, online courses, or industry events. Networking with professionals has provided valuable insights into the future of media and broadcasting.

Overall, my graduation in electronic media, combined with my internship experience at Doordarshan Kendra, has fostered a passion for storytelling that drives me to excel in news anchoring and production.
