Post: Electrical/Technical supervisor

Five years, working an experience as a supervisor for electrical, Air conditioning, plumbing & firefighting.

Employer: Qatar Primary Material company(QPMC) – QATAR (From  : September  2019 To : August 2021)

Post: General Foreman at Mesaieed Gabbro Port.

Role and responsibilities:

Coordinating with the staff, production, purchases, Team distinction of completing the following tasks as a maintenance supervisor. 

  • Supervising Electrical / AC maintenance staff and coordinating the daily activities of the maintenance department.
  • Scheduling work to be done for the daily and preparing daily / weekly maintenance reports.
  • Providing guidance to junior staff in the areas of leadership, continuous improvement, decision-making and conflict resolution.
  • Requesting spare parts & co-ordinate with supplier to get proper spare parts.
  • Utilizing preventive maintenance procedures   to reduce unscheduled downtime.
  • Ensuring adherence to all applicable safety policies and procedures.
  • Preparing annual budgets, for spare parts.

Education

Educational qualification:  G.C.E.O/L & G.C.E. A/L (Sri Lanka)

Technical Qualification:

  • Diploma in Electrical Equipment and tools management from Institute of engineering technology in 1991/1993
  • Diploma in Architectural developments and technology management in 2000-2002

 IT Qualification:

  • Microsoft office function management
  • Internet and Email
  • Auto CAD operation/ Photo shop/Elastrator
