About Tushar Mane:

  • A competent professional with over 17 years of diversified experience in Plant Layout & Piping
    Design, Proposal, FEED and Detail Engineering, Construction & Fabrication for on shore facilities
    particularly for Refinery (for grassroot, revamp & brownfield jobs) and Fertilizer projects.

    to Piping & Mechanical Engineering.
  • Significant Site exposure – experience of working at Sicim Construction sites & deputed in Reliance
    Jamnagar Export Refinery project at Jamnagar for Field design and Construction support.
  • Experience in supervisory role; demonstrated team leader and team player.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Piping Engineering at various stages ranging from Proposal & Tendering, FEED and Detailed Engineering.
  • Plant layout, Equipment layout, Piping layout, Feasibility studies and Plot Plan development.
  • Participation in various project meetings such as HAZOP, 3D design model, Constructability reviews etc.
  • Preparation, Review and Approval of all the Piping discipline deliverables.
  • Managing the quality and development of 3D model and conducting design review sessions.
  • Preparation and review of specifications and material requisitions of piping items with Vendors and technical evaluation of bids (TBE).
  • Preparation and review of Tender documents and Invitation to Bid (ITB) package.
  • Reporting of Project status, progress, areas of concern and major changes in the project scope.
  • Working knowledge of Piping material, Pipe Stress / flexibility concepts and Pipe supports.
  • Establishing and managing the interface between internal disciplines, Project management team, Client (Owner), Contractor and vendors.
  • Calculation of man hours for 3D Modelling and other Piping engineering activities
  • Utilisation of surplus material to reduce project cost.
  • Flow checking of all Isometrics for preparation of IFC Isometrics.
  • Isometric Coordination to Issue final Isometrics for Construction as per project schedule.
  • Resolution of all clash check reports to avoid rework at site.
  • Assign work to subordinates & get it done as per project schedule.
  • Knowledge of design codes & standards such as ASME, ASTM, API, OISD etc.

  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with distinction from M.I.T. Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India in
    July 2005 (67.07%)
  • DME with distinction from S. S. Patil Institute of Technology Chopda, Maharashtra, India in April
    2001(73.12%)
  • Professional certification in Piping Design from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay,
    Maharashtra, India
