I am an IP Professional and more specifically a Registered Patent Attorney in India with over fifteen years of work experience with qualification in Engineering, Business Administration and Law. My previous assignments involved searching, drafting, filing and prosecution of Patent applications in Boutique IPR Law firms. These assignments were a mixture of legal, scientificand technological work. While working on Patents,I accessed & analyzed Patent documentsin wide variety of technologies and solutions on inventions covering different subjects. My technical expertise ranges across a wide variety of arts includingmechanical, chemical, pharmaceutical, biomedical, electrical, electronics, metallurgical, telecommunications, computer engineering and scientific art fields.

I have good understanding of various technical concepts and good ability to analyze information.  Furthermore, I have good exposure to Chemical, Mechanical, Petro-chemical, refineries and many other heavy Industries and hands on experience on many engineering products during the course of my career.

I have also lead Engineering teams and have more than 15 years of experience in Indian Patent law. I specialize in innovationmining, drafting, filing and prosecuting patent applications across jurisdictions and forums like India, Patent Cooperation Treaty, United States Patent and Trademark Office and European Patent Office belonging to various branches of engineering with emphasis on technology related inventions.

I have assisted many of the clients to set-up in-house departments and have also provided support in terms of conducting educational programs. I regularly conduct interviews with the Inventors and provide on-site assistance to clients for capturing inventions and directing their research projects so as to yield commercially valuable andIP protectable inventions.

I regularly advise national and international clients on filing and prosecution strategies in India and freedom-to-operate matters. I have also been involved in negotiations of Technology Licenses and Technology Transfer Agreements and have advised several automobile companies on the structuring of Technology License and Technology Transfer Agreements.

I have also spearheaded many patent opposition matters in India. I am also a regular speaker in various seminars/conferences on various patent related subjects.
