Many people have asked me this question and I have asked this question to myself that with a background in Arts in your graduation how can you enter into a domain like data Analysis? I may have not an engineering or science background however I have studied subjects which come under domain of science field right throughout my high school period. These subjects include Physics, Calculus, Statistics etc. So, my training has taken place in the field of science & technology. The other thing which I really fascinate me about Data Analysis is its multidisciplinary nature. It is being increasingly used by Government & Private Sector in all possible fields and the possibility of exploring as to which domain will I be best fit for is present.  As of now considering my strengths domains such as Business & Public Policy (particularly in the field of social sciences) I’m most excited about. 

I am looking out for work and therefore do not possess any professional experience as of know. I was earlier preparing for the coveted Civil Services Examination in India and appeared for the exam. Couldn't find success so for now I have decided to first find some professional experience and start working for some time before  considering the possibility for again appearing in examinations at some later stage in my life. I can assure you that I've learnt a lot from the process as it covers vast amount of subjects ranging from Global Affairs related to Science & Tech, Politics etc to Ethics. I'll be fully committed and try to give full justice to whatever role I'm offered by your company.

I have learnt data analytics techniques like data gathering, data manipulation data mining, data visualisation techniques using R, SQL & Tableau. 

The two projects related to R were building predictive model to determine prices of real estate and determine as to which employee are likely to quit. I was given data sets and based on that I used various techniques to achieve outcome required.

Wrt to SQL I was given complex dataset of tenants and other attributes related to tenants like their personal details etc. I was given a set of 10 questions to find out outcomes using joins, views, subqueries
