I am looking for any suitable ‘freelance’ assignments in IMS [Integrated Management System], QMS Quality management System], Quality Assurance – Quality Control, establishing WPS & PQR related activities in Bangalore.

I have overall 30+ year experience and in which 20+ years direct experience in GCC UAE & Oman as MR & Head of Quality Assurance & Quality Control for the organizations towards handling ISO 9001: 2015 - QMS, ISO 14001: 2015 – EMS & ISO 45001: 2018 – OHSAS. The said organizations are involved in Manufacturing of Pressure vessels ASME Sec VIII Div-1, Boilers ASME Sec-1, Power Piping B 31.1, Process Piping B 31.3,  Storage Tanks API 650, Heavy stell structures AWS D 1.1 , Smelter equipment, silos etc.

Directly involved in Preparation of QMS – IMS Manuals, Operating Procedures, Work Instructions etc and implementation & establishing same.

Updating of QMS – IMS Manuals, Operating Procedures, Work Instructions etc while the ‘International standards revised’ & as on when required.

Organize, Co ordinate with TPIs, Accreditation agencies for internal, external,   certification audits & certificate renewal audits.

Plan, conduct internal audit with the organization in order to verify the effectiveness of system implementation, functioning, prepare report, submit to Top management.

Also handled ASME, API Internal, external, initial certification and renewal audits which includes (not limited to) the preparation of ASME – API Manuals, prepare additional Operating procedures, Work instructions etc as required by the standards, update for the compliance to the current editions [as on when the Standards revised]. 

Having hands on experience in preparation of WPS [Welding procedure Specifications] & PQR in compliance with international Codes & standards of ASME Sec IX, AWS D 1.1, & BS EN.

Plan – Monitor the day today’s shop in-process inspection [fit-up, welding, weld visual, final dimension, blasting, painting, packing – loading etc] and ensure its done properly.

Prepare NCR where required, identify the root cause and initiate appropriate corrections and corrective actions.

Prepare NCR log for periodical quality assessment and also maintain lessen learnt register. 

And, qualified with internal auditor certificates for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & API Q1.
