Vijay Singh

I have over 23 years of working experience in different capacities in the voluntary sector, humanitarian as well as the private sector. During my professional career I have developed strong relationships and partner networks at the national and international level. I have been part of various important campaigns leading to the change in the national policy for addressing the cross-cutting issues of poverty alleviation, environment, human rights, education and health. 

I hold advance Diploma in CSR & Sustainability from Swedish Institute, Stockholm. An M.A in Public Administration and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Human Rights Law from The Indian Academy of International Law & Diplomacy.

I have extensively worked with voluntary sector in Canada, U.K and India. In CSR Domain I have worked as Lead CSR with Bennett & Coleman Co Ltd, DLF Ltd, Sahara Group as CEO for Sahara Welfare Foundation and PI Foundation which is a CSR wing of PI Industries Ltd which is into the business of Agchem value chain from R&D to distribution providing innovative solutions to farmers.

My interest lies in working with poorest of the poor towards poverty alleviation and creating livelihood opportunities for the marginalised. Currently I am vehemently working to uplift the marginalised tribal population of Jharkhand in India using concept of circular economy.
