I am currently looking for an opportunity to utilise my competencies and skills in a challenging working environment and become a valuable asset to the organisation where I work.
I have completed a BSc (Hons.) Surveying Sciences degree program specialized in Hydrographic Surveying from Faculty of Geomatics, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. Internationally, it is accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Additionally, my specialisation degree in Hydrographic Surveying has also been recognised by the International Board on Standards of Competence (IBSC) for Hydrographic Surveyors and Nautical Cartographers in Category B level (FIG/IHO/ICA-Cat B). Moreover, the faculty is an academic member of the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG). This reflects the quality of the degree programme.
I am a confident, dedicated, hardworking, and proactive graduate surveyor with honours of academic and extra-curricular success, with a strong background of surveying competence. I have gained skills in Hydrographic Surveying, Land Surveying, Project Management, offshore operations, mapping and safety improvements, and proficient use of related instruments and software. My previous positions have given me the chance to work with many different types of equipment, including total stations, RTK/GNSS systems, Hydrographic survey instruments, and aerial mapping instruments (drones). I am proficient in all of these instruments and can quickly learn how to use any new equipment that you may require. Not only I have excellent creative & logical thinking skills, but also I have ability to adapt to unexpected deadlines, constantly changing priorities & capability of working under very stressful conditions.
I am the type of person who will go above and beyond to achieve own goals, even if it means learning a new skill, adaptable, trustworthy, reliable, exploratory, an excellent team leader and a team player as a result of experiences in surveyor field of study and site. Always striving to do better today than yesterday.
I firmly believe the company can utilize my expertise in the capacity of the relevant profession. I learn quickly and I can withstand any obstacle that crosses my path, and always follow safety procedures. I assure you that, I endeavour my very best in performing my duties for the betterment of your reputed organization.

Land Surveyor

Conduct land surveying and making of legal documentation under supervision of a Licensed Surveyor.
Also work with care to resolve disputes and correct problems in the title documentation and deeds for different properties.
Using GNSS and TS instruments.

Trainee Hydrographic Surveyor (Industrial Training)
National Hydrographic Office (NHO),
NARA, Colombo 15, Sri Lanka.
Bathymetry Survey, Side Scan Survey, Hydrographic Setting out, Land Survey, and ENC & Chart Production were conducted.
Also, Bathymetry and Side Scan data were processed.
Kongsberg SBES, SVP, deso30 SBES, GNSS, SSS and MRU instruments were used.

Land Surveyor

Nugegoda, Sri Lanka.
Conducted initial road topographic survey, longitudinal section survey and cross section survey of Kotmale, Matale, Raththota and Rajjammana areas for pipe laying.
GNSS-RTK, Digital level, Auto Level and TS instruments were used.
