I have a Ph.D. in Marine Microbiology, from CAS in Marine Biology, Annamalai University, India.  I did my doctoral studies under the guidance of Dr. S. Kumaresan Marine pollution lab, Centre for advanced study in marine biology, Annamalai University, Parangipettai, Tamilnadu, India. My doctoral research lies in the production of laccase enzyme from marine fungal species Aspergillus nidulans its uses in degradation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. I am passionate person and I wish to excel in this field. I hold remarkable academic background. I have massive experience in the field of marine biogeochemistry, I have worked as a Research Fellow in a funded project for the  assessment of Hydrobiological studies of two estuarine systems during the period of 2011-2015 so when I came across your profile, I found that your area of Interest is in the microbiome of the marine ecosystem along with the HAB formation in the oceans. I have massive exposure of analysing the water quality parameters of Estuaries and Open Ocean waters. I have experience in onboard sampling in ships and trawlers. So, I hope I will be a suitable candidate for the role, I worked as JRF and my main role was to estimate and analyse the water and sediment nutrients load in the estuaries of Vellar and Colleroon a tropical estuary in south east coast of India. The samples were taken accordingly to the respective seasons like the Premonsoon, summer, monsoon, post monsoon. The parameters like the Salinity, dissolved oxygen(mg/l), Biological oxygen demand (mg/l) and Turbidity (NTU), Ammonia(ppm), Total Nitrogen, Inorganic Phosphorous, Total Phosphorous, Petroleum hydrocarbons, heavy metals, Reactive silicate all measured in terms of PPM (Parts per Million).

         The Work was a part of the International Project SIBER- (Sustainable Indian Ocean Biogeochemistry Ecosystem Research)- Funded by Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt of India. I have immense experience in analysing the water and sediment samples for various chemical, biological and physical parameters. I have great exposure to onboard sampling in trawlers and boats in rivers and inshore waters. I have more interest in the environmental impact assessment. I have analysed parameters such as pH, Temp, Dissolved oxygen, Turbidity, Total suspended solids, BOD, Alkalinity, Total hardness, etc and some important parameters like the Phosphates, Nitrates (Nitrate and nitrite +TN) and silicate ammonia. Samples are analysed during the period during different seasons and different geographical locations. Inspite of these research experience, I have five years of teaching experience in the Dept of Microbiology for the both Undergraduates and Post Graduates.
