About Yash Kanakia:

Currently working as Sr. Data Analyst having experience in building supervised/unsupervised Machine Learning models and drawing insights from data and have exposure to CPG and Retail industry. The work involves the use of Python, Excel, Snowflake, and PowerBi and Domain Knowledge.

Alumnus at Praxis Business School, 2021 Batch. Completed my PGP Course in Data Science gaining knowledge in multiple subjects including Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Visualization, and their impacts in domains like Marketing, HR, Finance, etc. Got an opportunity to work on a capstone project built on an algorithm to recommend groceries to users and won the best project award the same.

Previously, worked as Software Developer in the logistics/supply chain automation industry helping build and maintain multiple products ranging from vehicle tracking, vehicle maintenance, and ERP solutions to generate actionable insights impacting PnL. The work involved the use of PHP, MySQL, API Development, and JavaScript.

I have worked as a Senior Data Analyst at The Smart Cube, Mumbai, where I developed a pricing solution and machine learning models to identify high-priority stores. Additionally, I worked as a Software Developer at Elixia Tech Solutions Ltd, Mumbai, where I designed and implemented web services for vehicle telematics and generated comprehensive reports.
