Yash Patil

I’ve worked as a cyber security research intern where I was exposed to low level and systems focused work, including analyzing complex software components, debugging internals, and understanding how vulnerabilities surface in real world systems. Alongside that, most of my practical experience comes from building backend heavy and full stack projects. I’ve designed secure networking tools, async systems, encrypted file transfer workflows, IoT platforms with real hardware, and production style web applications with authentication, APIs, and dashboards. Overall, my experience leans toward backend engineering, system internals, networking, and security oriented problem solving.

I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology with honours in Cyber Security at the University of Mumbai. My academic focus has been on core CS subjects, security, networking, and system level concepts, backed by consistent performance and department level recognition. College has also been a space where I actively applied theory through projects, competitions, and technical forums, helping me bridge the gap between coursework and real world engineering.
