    Job Description:


    As a Credit Underwriter for MSME loans at StrideOne, you will play a crucial role in assessing and analyzing the creditworthiness of potential borrowers to mitigate risk and ensure prudent lending practices.

    You will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, conducting thorough credit assessments, and making informed Review and analyze loan applications for MSME loans, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.


    • Conduct comprehensive credit assessments, including financial statement analysis, cash flow projections, and risk profiling of potential borrowers.
    • Assess the viability and feasibility of loan proposals by evaluating factors such as business stability, industry trends, and repayment capacity.
    • Verify the accuracy and authenticity of borrower information and documentation provided during the loan application process.
    • Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports to present findings and recommendations to the credit committee.
    • Monitor and track the performance of existing MSME loan portfolios, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate remedial Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
    • 35 years of experience in credit underwriting or risk management, preferably in an NBFC or financial institution.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess creditworthiness.
    • Sound knowledge of MSME lending practices, credit risk analysis, and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
    • Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and reporting.
    • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
