    Your key responsibilities:

    Service Management

  • Responsible for integrated incident and problem management. Lead incident response efforts within service delivery for any incidents impacting the application portfolio
  • Responsible for change, release management, and testing associated with non-impact, operational readiness, and transition acceptance
  • Responsible for communications and interfacing with internal and external stakeholders impacted, or potentially impacted, by service disruption, additions, changes, and/or reductions in service
  • Responsible for service delivery decisions made to ensure application service level targets are met or exceeded (e.g., performance and availability)
  • Responsible for information security and compliance
  • Responsible for driving continuous improvements and innovation
  • Responsible for 24x7 support

    • Provides technical guidance to ERP Technology team on establishing standards and requirements, evaluating, and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for systems configuration, design and implementation and performance monitoring as required.


    • Designs and develops SAP architecture requirements and specifications to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs.


    • Ensure all Enhancements, projects (SAP based and interfacing) systems are installed and operate reliably and efficiently in a secure environment. This includes working with the hosting, infrastructure, functional and application vendors on configuration and maintenance of network, high availability and disaster recover solutions.


    • Liaise with the functional SAP experts and business teams in order to assist with the ongoing functional support of SAP and interfacing systems.


    • Build annual maintenance calendars for SAP systems, planning and execution of maintenance, stakeholder communication plans for maintenance


    • Establish and run a robust operating model across the multiple tracks within the portfolio for operational discipline and efficiency

    Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Experience Level Years)
  • Desired qualification Bachelor of Computer Science/Engineering.
  • Responsible for the implementation, service level and life-cycle management of Enterprise Solutions' Portfolio of SAP Applications
  • The SAP Basis Administrator will be responsible for the implementation, deployment, support and administration SAP and integrated systems.
  • Work collaboratively with various application management and project teams.
  • Good understanding and experience with Operation Systems (Linux, AIX, etc.) and Databases (HANA, MSSQL, DB2, etc.).
  • Familiar with SAP Software Logistics tools especially those for system maintenance and provisioning, like SUM, SWPM, etc.
  • At least 2 full-cycle experience in SAP Upgrade/Migration projects as upgrade/migration consultant, or strong evidence of general basis experience.
  • Experience in SAP Upgrade/Migration projects as technical lead or project manager is a plus.
  • Perform HANA database upgrades and patches, as required
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Basis tasks such as designing and implementing landscape and infrastructure, client strategy, capacity planning (sizing), high-availability and disaster-recovery setup, backup and recovery strategy, storage systems, SAP upgrades, OS/DB migration, System refresh & client copies and Basis administration.
  • Experienced in SAP implementation, upgrades and migrations to Suite on HANA, BW on HANA, and cloud integration, cloud migrations.
  • Good Knowledge on DB2 database.
  • High Availability (HA) /Disaster Recovery (DR) technologies including design and implementation of Geographically Dispersed HA/DR
  • Acts as the highest-level escalation point for the team.
  • Good knowledge of SAP supported virtualized environments such as VMWare and Hyper-V as well as Public Cloud IaaS offerings such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure.
  • Detailed knowledge of supported SAP operating systems including Linux, Windows and AIX
  • Expert knowledge of performance tuning at the server, database, and application levels. Expert knowledge in Backup design and support.
  • Desired Programming skills. Experience with application production environments and managing multiple databases.
  • Good experience with database design, administration, and maintenance in distributed environment
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Basis tasks such as designing and implementing landscape and infrastructure, client strategy, capacity planning (sizing), high-availability and disaster-recovery setup, backup and recovery strategy, storage systems, SAP upgrades, OS/DB migration, System refresh & client copies and Basis administration.
  • Experience working with Vendors, SLAs, product roadmaps, and support lifecycles
  • Desired SAP Certifications in SAP S/4 HANA, HANA, OS/DB Migration.
  • Strong understanding of various SDLC, Agile methodologies
  • Full cycle implementations of SAP modules. Experience on implementation / support of Finance is desirable.
  • Experience working with Vendors, SLAs, product roadmaps, and support lifecycles
  • PMP & ITIL certifications preferred

  • Preference will be given to these candidates:

  • Immediate Joiner/ 1 months of Notice Period
  • Knowledge of SAP BASIS with 8 to 11years of exp
  • Knowledge of DB2- Data Base, Life cycle management, Upgrades, Transitions and Vendor Management
