Responsibilities
Ø
The candidate prepares Trademark applications for filing at the Registry.Ø
Maintaining diaries for deadlines/due dates.Ø
Physical and digitized maintenance of files.Ø
Convey and draft instructions to foreign counsel related to trademark matters.Ø
Coordinates with different in-house departments and supervise outside counsel to assure deadlines are met.Ø
Performs searches of the Trademarks Journals and Trademarks Registries online database.Ø P repare documents pertinent to oppositions, cancellations or litigations.
Develop and execute trademark portfolio reports.Ø
Develops and file customs recording.Ø
Supports trademark-related projects along with anti-counterfeiting efforts
QualificationsStrong knowledge of law and legal principlesExperience in legal document preparationAnalytical skills to assess legal issuesEffective communication skills to interact with clients and stakeholdersAbility to work independently and in a teamAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsExperience in intellectual property law is a plusBachelor's or Master's degree in Law or related field
