Responsibilities:


Provide strategic leadership and direction for the entire engineering department.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the engineering team, including technicians, building management, and maintenance staff.

Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members have the resources and support they need to succeed.

Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.

Manage and prioritize maintenance requests to ensure efficient service delivery.

Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.

Oversee the budget for the engineering department and ensure all expenditures are aligned with organizational goals.

Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and building codes.

Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and address potential problems.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including facility managers and department heads.

Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in engineering technologies and best practices.
