Are you an experienced Operations Engineer – Wellhead ready to lead offshore wellhead operations in a safety-critical, high-performance oil & gas environment?

We are seeking technically strong and safety-driven Operations Engineers – Wellhead to oversee operations across offshore wellhead platforms and oil & gas processing installations in our project at Mumbai High. This role involves supervising wellhead activities, optimizing production, ensuring process safety compliance, and maintaining asset integrity across operational facilities.

This position is ideal for a proactive engineering professional with strong offshore exposure who understands process systems, shutdown philosophy, well integrity, and operational governance in complex oil & gas environments.

As we continue to strengthen our offshore production capabilities and support critical wellhead operations, we are looking for experienced Operations Engineers who can provide technical oversight, ensure operational excellence, and drive safe and efficient performance across our wellhead platforms and process facilities.

What You Will Do

Operations & Process Management

• Lead operations and commissioning activities in oil & gas process installations
• Supervise well fluid handling, separation systems, crude oil and hydrocarbon gas handling systems, and produced water handling systems
• Oversee operations of unmanned wellhead platforms and associated production facilities
• Ensure safe installation, commissioning, and testing of wellhead equipment and systems
• Monitor process parameters, analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions

Wellhead & Safety Systems Oversight

• Oversee operation and maintenance of Wellhead Shutdown Panels and control systems
• Ensure compliance and functionality of ESD/FSD systems and Safety Critical Elements (SCE)
• Supervise XSDV, XBDV, SCSSV, SSV, and SSIV systems
• Lead plant start-up, shutdown, and revival activities
• Ensure routine inspection of wellhead, fire, and safety equipment

Production & Optimization

• Drive production optimization initiatives
• Oversee chemical injection, well monitoring, maintenance, testing, and sampling
• Support rig-less operations and performance improvement programs

HSE & Compliance

• Lead Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for critical activities
• Ensure emergency preparedness and effective hazard control within area of responsibility
• Maintain strict adherence to offshore HSE standards and regulatory compliance
• Ensure accurate operational reporting and documentation

What We Are Looking For

• Strong hands-on offshore wellhead operational and supervisory experience
• Solid understanding of process safety management and shutdown philosophy
• Ability to manage unmanned platforms and remote installations
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
• Leadership ability in high-risk offshore environments
• Capability to work in rotation-based offshore assignments

Qualification & Experience Criteria

• B.E./B.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical / Petroleum discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas Processing Industry
• Including minimum 2 years of wellhead operations experience

OR

• Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical / Petroleum discipline
• Minimum 12 years of experience in Oil & Gas Processing Industry
• Including minimum 5 years of wellhead operations experience

Preferred Certifications

• NEBOSH certification (Process Safety Management module preferred)
• IWCF Well Control certification will be an added advantage
