    About the Role

    The ideal candidate will lead the development activities, support analysis and data mapping to construct the target SQL. They will liaise with the business to understand all possible scenarios for mapping, exclusion, and inclusion filters and joins with other tables, data load frequency, and data sources.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategy: Works with the PO and tech leads to define strategy and set up operational ethos that ensures delivery is aligned with strategy.
    • Business: Works with business to firm up requirements, provides walkthroughs to business and developers, and freezes scope of requirements.
    • Processes: Understands and adheres to existing processes and works with stakeholders to refine them.
    • People & Talent: Collaborates with other leads to ensure delivery timelines and landscape are always attuned.
    • Risk Management: Identifies risks and brings them to the notice of managers/peers to ensure everyone is aware of risks.
    • Governance: Ensures data governance standards are maintained and any identified gaps are resolved.

    Skills and Experience:

    • Good understanding of Teradata/HADOOP/PYSPARK/Java Full Stack.
    • Understanding of data analytics tools (Python/SAS).
    • Understanding of UNIX OS/bash scripting basics.
    • Proficient in SQL: able to write queries without developer assistance.
    • Good understanding of credit landscape, preferably in CIB (Commercial/Institutional Banking).
    • Understanding of credit portfolio/credit risk modelling.
    • Good understanding of data store concepts.
    • Very strong in data comparison and validation.
    • Experience in setting up and defining data quality requirements/controls.

    Qualifications:

    • 12+ years of experience in developing world-class products/applications.
    • Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent.
    • Master's in Engineering desirable.
    • Certifications desirable.
