Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team at Podar Education Network. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical wiring, maintenance, and repair tasks. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical work, with knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols. This is a full-time or contract position located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical work
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
• Experience with electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good physical condition and ability to work in various weather conditions
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Valid electrical license/certification
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform electrical wiring, installation, and maintenance tasks
• Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for repairs
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems, apparatus, and components to locate the cause of a breakdown
• Follow electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations
• Install and maintain lighting systems, electrical outlets, and circuit breakers
• Collaborate with other team members, contractors, and supervisors to complete projects
