Role:

As we expand our offerings, clientele, and impact, we seek to onboard a dynamic Communications Associate. We will look to the associate to help us tell our story and communicate impact effectively. The associate will work closely with the communications team.

Responsibilities:

• Create and edit content for our website, social media channels and blogs
• Co-design and implement our communications strategy across platforms, in line with the organization's strategy and values
• Work with project teams to develop stories, case studies, project briefs, and other collateral
• Conduct research and build out ideas for new avenues of communication
• Assist in developing materials and presentations for external meetings/conferences / webinars
• Support in business development and other organizational development initiatives
• Undertake related tasks, as required for the organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 0-2 years of experience in social media / journalism / media relations and/or public relations
• Ideal candidate should have knowledge of the Social Sector

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Familiarity with and interest in social media platforms and social media tools
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to work with timelines
• Entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to execute independently with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with the development/ social research/ social impact sector is desirable
• Working knowledge of design platforms such as Canva, InDesign, Photoshop is desirable
