- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of mechanical components and systems.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop design concepts and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Perform design calculations and analyses to validate the functionality and performance of designs.
- Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and assist in procurement activities.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Conduct design reviews and participate in team meetings to provide input and feedback on design concepts.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
- Support manufacturing processes by providing technical assistance and resolving design-related issues.
- Continuously improve design processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design fundamentals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication, pressure vessel design, process pipeline, and machined components.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other relevant software.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with design analysis and simulation tools (e.g., Finite Element Analysis).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials selection.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to relocate to Pallavaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu before starting work (Preferred).
- Full-time position with a morning shift schedule.
- Salary: From ₹25,000.00 per month.
